At every stage of development, in both sickness and health, a pediatrician manages the physical, mental and emotional well-being of the youngsters under their care. Neonatology may be a pediatric subspecialty consisting of new born, infant’s medical aid, particularly the ill or premature newborn. It's a specialty based in hospitals and is typically practiced in intensive neonatal care units (NICUs).
